Quality and Risk Assurer
The Quality Control & Risk Management team are looking for an experienced Quality and Risk Assurer to join our team. In this vital position, you will sample and evaluate trainer assessment activities to ensure high standards of quality, identify potential risks, and maintain regulatory compliance across our apprenticeships.
This role will be Ideal for a candidate with a Hospitality and Catering background.
About the role:
We actively monitor alignment with apprenticeship funding rules and assessment decisions to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance, while identifying any areas of risk or improvement.
Equally important is our role in providing constructive feedback and tailored support to Vocational Trainers, empowering them to take timely action and continuously develop their practice.
Through this collaborative approach, we help drive performance, foster professional growth, and contribute to the overall success of our Delivery teams.
Duties will include:
Ensure high standards of delivery by monitoring work submitted and delivering consistency sessions
Champion personal development among all staff, working in partnership with the Development QA team to ensure minimum levels of performance are achieved
Contribute to Ofsted readiness by evidencing quality, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring compliance
Conduct thorough sampling interventions to monitor assessment activities (induction through to gateway)
Identify areas of risk of non-compliance, ensuring these are escalated immediately to line manager / Head of Centre
Use end point assessment platforms to refer apprentices into their EPA.
Process APA / RPL components/qualifications
Communicate with learners who have achieved components / full qualifications through appropriate documentation and updates on BUD through Reg and Cert.
Provide constructive feedback and coaching to Vocational Trainers, aiding their continuous development and closing actions in a timely manner.
About you:
We’re looking for a professional and confident individual with the following skills and experience:
Have occupational experience within the Hospitality & Catering (including Chef) sector
Hold qualifications in Hospitality
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, both verbal and written
Hold a Level 4 TAQA or be willing to achieve this
Strong understanding of funding rules, awarding organisation requirements and Ofsted
